Is there a dress code?
Answer
The wedding dress code is formal! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, but the reception will be inside (and air-conditioned). Virginia in the summer is very warm, so please keep that in mind. The welcome party is casual and will be at an outdoor brewery. Please dress comfortably but ya know, no stains or jorts - something you'd wear to a nice lunch with your mom.

What does formal dress code look like?
Answer
We want our guests to feel fabulous - please, do the most! Pull out that amazing outfit you've been dying to wear! For men: Suit and tie are appropriate. Tuxes are not necessary, but welcome if you want to feel ~extra fancy~ For women: Typically a floor-length dress, but you can also get funky with a formal midi dress, jumpsuit, or pantsuit. How hungry should I be for the welcome party?
Answer
We will have some snacks and desserts, but you should plan to eat dinner beforehand. There are also food options on-site if you'd like to arrive earlier and order there. Drinks will be hosted by the Doctor! Plan to bring your ID.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
As much as we love all of the children in our lives, we are only able to invite a few family members’ children. Our wedding will be an evening affair with an open bar and loud music. If you're interested in a babysitter (or sharing one with other guests), please reach out!

All invited guests will be noted on your invitation.

What if I have a dietary restriction?
Answer
Please make sure to let us know of any special meal requests that you have when you RSVP so we can accommodate them.

Is there transportation to the venue?
Answer
Yes! Shuttles will be provided between the venue and the hotel. Times will be published on our website and in the hotel. Transportation to the welcome party is on your own, but is a short drive to the hotels and parking is plentiful.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes! We will be providing shuttles to & from the hotel, but if you need to drive please follow the signage and staff's instructions on site. Please be responsible if you choose to drive. You are welcome to leave your car overnight at Great Marsh if you would prefer. Cars must be picked up by 10 am. Ubers in the area will be limited.
