We recommend guests to stay in Salem as the venue is on the Peabody-Salem line. Salem does not provide room blocks in August, but there are numerous inns and hotels in the area. See the "Travel" tab for some suggestions!
We will be providing transportation to/from the venue from downtown Salem, MA. All shuttles arrive to/depart from The Hotel Salem. As The Hotel Salem is located on the walking-only part of Essex street, the specific address for pick-up is around the corner at 15 Central Street. It is at the end of the road in front of Red's Sandwich Shop. Ceremony: Shuttle boards in Salem (15 Central Street) at 1:20 pm Shuttle returns from Church to Salem at 3:00 and 3:10pm Cocktail hour: Shuttle boards in Salem (15 Central Street) at 5:30 pm Shuttle leaves Olio at 10:30 and 11:00 pm to return to Salem Shuttle leaves after party (Granite Coast Brewing) at 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, and 1:00 to return to Salem.
We are hoping to celebrate with you all in semi-formal/cocktail attire. However, we want you to feel comfortable! Wear something that will have you up and on the dance floor - we will have an awesome band!
RSVPs will be completed through this wedding website. Once you receive your formal invitation, there will be an RSVP tab on the navigation bar. Here you will RSVP for all invited guests, provide your dinner selection, and note any dietary restrictions.
We love your children, but we will not be having any kids at the wedding reception. Thank you for understanding.
We are thrilled you have made the trip, thank you! We recommend staying in the Salem area 8/7-8/9. Festivities begin with a casual welcome reception Friday evening (8/7). If you choose to arrive early, or stay longer, Paul and Emily may not be available, but please enjoy the area! Boston has lots to explore if you want to extend your trip beyond the weekend. See the “travel” tab for Boston-area suggestions.
We appreciate you waiting through the “Catholic Gap”! We’d recommend you take the shuttle from the Church to downtown Salem. In the “Things to do” tab, you’ll find some restaurant suggestions that are in easy walking distance if you want to start happy hour early or grab a bit to eat! Paul and Emily’s favorite snack is oysters. There’s nothing like getting them fresh like we do here! The shuttle schedule is listed above and in the "schedule" tab. The shuttle will pick up at the Hotel Salem (15 Central Street) to bring you to Olio for cocktail hour.
Mass. has some wild pronunciations! It is pronounced Pee-buh-dee!
