FAQs

You asked, we panicked... Here's some answers. Because wedding planning is 10% romance and 90% answering the same five questions repeatedly. Here's everything we remembered to write down.
Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st, 2026. Due to the importance in accuracy of our guest count, any guests who have not responded by May 1st will be marked as "not attending".

Question

What Time Should I Arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:00pm, please arrive no later than 3:50 pm or you will sadly have to miss our ceremony. For all you early birds please arrive no earlier than 3:30 pm!

Question

Can I Bring A Date?

Answer

Due to the nature of our more intimate celebration, we are not allowing +1's. If you are given a +1, it will be listed on your invitation and RSVP.

Question

What Should I Do If I Can't Attend?

Answer

You will be missed! If you're unable to attend we do ask that you reply "no" on your RSVP. If you've been given a +1 or if someone included on your invitation is unable to make it, we ask for you to please let us know! We also invite you to celebrate with us in other ways, such as prayers or letters of encouragement! We are deeply hoping all of our guests can join us, but we understand that life happens so please don't be afraid to let us know!

Question

Where Do I Park?

Answer

Our wonderful venue will provide plenty of parking, so check that off your list of worries!

Question

How Do I Get To The Venue?

Answer

We will have signs on the roads that will make it easier to find us! I would highly recommend downloading or printing out directions to our venue. Cell service can get a bit spotty, especially since we're in a rural area!

Question

Will I Be Able To Take Pictures During The Ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony and our asking that our guests refrain from using their phones or cameras. Please enjoy being in the moment and celebrating with us!

Question

What Should I Wear?

Answer

We would love if our family and friends could join us in dressing up for the occasion! We kindly request a semi-formal dress code! Please remember that our ceremony will be taking place outside, so be prepared for any sort of weather, it is Colorado.... Also take into consideration that there will be uneven ground, if you're planning on wearing heels please make sure they are thick and stable to walk in. Please refrain from wearing white (if you do, just beware, we will have Bridesmaids and Groomsmen on standby with Super Soakers full of Red Wine).

Question

Who Should I Contact If I Have More Questions?

Answer

If you have any questions that weren't answered here, please email us at jandvlien@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
