Mystic River Cruises

Relax aboard a 1947 classic wooden motorboat for an intimate cruise (maximum of 6 passengers) of Mystic River and Long Island Sound during a 90 minute tour. Mystic River Cruises is located a short 5 minute walk from the drawbridge in Downtown Mystic. Captain Erick is the first out on the water for the season and the last one off. His rides are great for kids (cabin access is encouraged!) and he does foliage tours in the fall with blankets and cider from BF Clyde’s! Bring your own food/drink aboard on any cruise. Daily Schedule Regular Tours leave at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm – $40 per person / $20 children under 12 Sunset Tour at 7pm (may change due to time of sunset) – $50 per person / $25 children under 12

Mystic Museum of Art

Mystic Museum of Art is a 100+ year establishment serving as an arts and culture center for SE CT. It is host to many events throughout the year and an extensive educational program for youth and adults. MMoA is located in a great spot on the west bank of the Mystic River. MMoA is FREE ADMISSION! Galleries are open 7 days/week May 1-December 31. January 1-April 30th the galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday, 11am – 5pm.

Mystic Harbor Cruises, LLC.

Mystic Harbor Cruises is a 2 hour long narrated tour of sights on the Mystic River including Mystic Seaport, the Bascule Bridge, historic homes, Mason’s Island, Bartlett Reef Light, Ram Island and Fishers Island. Prudence, one of the few original “Coastal Steamers” left in operation, launched in 1911 and holds the record for longest running, working ship in the country. Private and corporate cruises available. Tickets can be purchased by phone or at the ticket office.

Ride for free on a Mystic Community Bike! This unique, non-profit bicycle share program’s objectives are to provide and support an environmentally friendly transportation option to visitors and residents. Borrow a bike for a day from 1 of 10 distribution centers and travel the town viewing historical sites, visiting famous attractions and wonderful restaurants, and get your exercise along the way…all at no cost to you!
