Yes. You also need to fill out the ED Card online 1 week prior to arrival in Aruba: https://edcardaruba.aw/
We will be arriving in Aruba on Saturday, June 29, 2024. All wedding celebrations will take place on Monday, July 1, 2024. We expect most guests to stay June 29-July 6 (or some variation thereof). Mike and I will be staying until July 13 to enjoy our Honeymoon!
We will be staying at the Barcelo Aruba for the duration of the trip. None of the wedding activities will be associated with a specific hotel. There are numerous hotels nearby, in addition to Airbnb options. I would suggest trying to stay in Noord or as close to Palm Beach as possible. We have heard you can get great deals on the Barcelo through Jet Blue Vacations and Costco! Register at "myBarcelo" for direct deals through the resort: https://www.barcelo.com/en-us/mybarcelo/
No, all transportation to and from the Ceremony and Reception will be up to guests. Cab information is below. If you stay near the Barcelo Aruba - both the ceremony meeting point and reception are walkable.
We will have events the days after the wedding (i.e.: UTV tours, Going out to clubs and beaches). These would be around $60 per activity, and these would be optional per guest.
Plan on bathing suits/cover ups for the boat ceremony/snorkeling excursion. ALL WHITE PARTY Beach Attire for the Reception Dinner: white linen pants, white short-sleeved button downs, white maxi dresses, and sandals.
Please RSVP by May 17, 2024.
Your presence is gift enough!
Reef Safe Sunblock. More than you think you will need. At least 50SPF, and you will need to re-apply it all day long. Sunglasses are a must. Water shoes may come in handy for excursions to more pebbly beaches. Portable Speaker It is VERY windy almost every day in Aruba. Be prepared to wear your hair up, or bring a hat that ties!
The currency on the island is the Aruba Florin. You can exchange U.S. dollars, but it isn’t necessary. Using American money in Aruba is common and widely accepted. You may receive Aruba currency as change.
