We are so glad you are making the trip out for our wedding. We would love for you to get to check out our beautiful "Idahome". Below are a few of our favorite restaurants, sights, and activities around Boise & surrounding areas. Please note, ADA County currently has mandatory masking required when in public. If you are staying in Boise, please be sure to bring a mask!

Activity - Hike Table Rock

This hike is not for the faint of heart but the views are well worth it. The hike will take you up to a flat rock with a cross that overlooks all of Boise and the surrounding cities!

Activity - Float the Boise River

Floating the Boise river is a local favorite in the summer time! The float takes about 3 hours but is absolutely beautiful. The river can get somewhat rough in some spots so life jackets are recommended for children. There are raft rentals available at the park where the float starts.

Activity- Camels back trail hike

This hiking trail has beautiful 360 degree views of the city of Boise as well as the beautiful mountains! It is definitely a local favorite.

Activity- Boise Breweries

Boise is home to quite the robust craft beer scene. If you are a fan of craft beers you will have to check out the following Boise Breweries: -Western Collective -Payette Brewing -Barbarian Brewing -Lost grove brewery -10 barrel brewery -Meriwether Cider

Our favorite stop for mexican food. Be sure to order one of their famous margaritas and their nachos and jalapeno poppers. You will not be disappointed! For anyone staying in meridian, there is also a Matador in the village at Meridian.

The STIL is one of Sammy and Matt's favorite ice cream shops. Their ice cream is made in shop and so unique. They even have booze infused ice cream if that's your thing! We highly recommend checking it out! Our favorite flavors: Fresh powder, After School Special & Brownie Batter

This farmers market is a must see if you are staying downtown. The market takes over several of the main streets downtown and features local foods, produce and art.

Things to see- Hyde Park

Hyde park is a cute little restaurant and shopping area tucked away in the north end of Boise

Things to see- Freak Alley Gallery

An entire alley of downtown has been dedicated to local grafiti artists. In this alley they are free to grafiti and showcase their art. Taking a stroll down freak alley is always fun!

Things to see- Idaho Botanical Garden

The Idaho botanical garden is absolutely beautiful and home to lots of native Idaho plants and flowers. If you are looking for a peaceful afternoon stroll, check out the botanical gardens!

The Boise train depot provides beautiful views of downtown Boise and is a wonderful spot for pictures!
