Current Situation Updates (COVID-19)

As of now our wedding is moving forward as planned on July 24, 2020. Currently, ADA County has mandatory masking required when in public. If you are staying in Boise, please be sure to bring a mask!

At this point, we've been advised that a July wedding should be safe. Please RSVP and book your accommodations as you normally would, but check first for a lenient cancellation policy, which most hotels and airlines are happy to provide in light of current events. We are continuing to closely monitor the situation with COVID-19 and will let all guests know if any plans change. These are unprecedented times and the health, comfort and safety of our guests and loved ones are a priority for us. If for any reason you do not feel comfortable attending, we will completely understand. All we ask is that you let us know as soon as possible. Please contact us directly with any questions- our contact information is below. Thank you for your love, patience and concern - We look forward to celebrating with you on July 24, 2020! How We Met

After growing up in the same town for years, God decided it was time to introduce us in His perfect timing at our friends Hannah (Sammy's Matron of Honor) and Kenny's wedding. After spending the whole night talking, a few swing dances and a few weeks of "Facetime date nights" we knew we wanted to see where this went. While visiting San Luis Obispo for a Cal Poly football game, Matt asked me if I wanted to "Give this thing a shot and be his girlfriend". Of course I said yes and our relationship has been full of adventures and blessings since.

The Proposal

We were both in San Luis Obispo for a Cal Poly tailgate with both our parents and Sammy's Grandmas. The morning of the tailgate, Matt asked me if I wanted to take a walk on the beach. We walked the beach for about a mile. While on the way back to the house, Matt stopped and asked me if I wanted to take a selfie with the beautiful ocean in the back. Right after we finished taking the photo, he turned to me and through tears asked me to be his wife. Through heavy tears I said "YES!". After the proposal we walked back to the house where Matt had champagne waiting to celebrate with both our families. That day was truly one of the happiest days of both of our lives.
