I have known the bride all of my life. She is my baby sister, my rock,my backbone when I feel weak. She is the most resilient and loving person I know. She has a sense of humor and her love and light she emits can brighten any room. I love her and Ricky to life. Their love and relationship is one that shows when God is the head anything is possible. Wishing them the best of love and life! Love you Ricky and Veda!

I met Veda in 2010 at a Mexican restaurant in Frisco through mutual friends. Every year knowing Veda our bond and friendship became stronger and stronger. I now consider her to be my sister, not just a friend. We laugh (uncontrollably), we cry, we dance, we pray, and we love and protect each other. A true friendship that is formed with love holds you accountable and we do just that. A true friendship can stand the test and trials that come. A genuine friendship celebrates each other’s victories as if it were our own. I thank God for my sister and who would have known back in 2010, I would have gained a sister. #webeendoingthis #lovemysister #willcutyaovermysis To my Verda and my Bro, I love both of you and my prayer is that you continue to allow God to pilot your marriage. That you continue to be as excited and passionate as you are now for years to come. That your love for each other continues to grow stronger and stronger. That God builds a hedge of protection around you so that no weapon formed against your marriage will prosper. I am one of your number 1 fans and I am here to support you guys anyway I can. Love, Thelma/Sis

I met Veda eighteen years ago, and it has been a wonderful ride over the years. You have always inspired me to be a better person, friend and sister. You have encouraged me to be the best version of myself, while being my biggest cheerleader. We have created an incredibly strong bond and I deeply cherish the friendship we share as though it were my most prized possession. Your unshakeable faith has been a true testament to your beautiful soul and spirit. Watching you take this next step, in this beautiful journey we call life, makes me beyond proud to call you, my sister. I love you Veda and Ricky and I wish you both the best that life has to offer. Congratulations!! 1 Corinthians 16:14 – Let all that you do be done in love. – Mia

God will do what he said he would do and he has kept his promise for the both of you. I can’t stamp a date on when we met because I do believe that God made us sisters way before 2008 . The experiences we’ve shared throughout the years are priceless, God has used Veda in many ways to be my eyes my ears and my voice and for that I say thank you. The Bible says a Man who finds a wife finds favor from God , Ricky you have the favor of God upon you . Veda when I see you with Ricky the glow that comes out of you is radiant. Continue to be each other‘s, best friends and lifetime partners continue to encourage each other, date each other and always be in love with each other like it was the first time listen to each other and know it’s ok to agree to disagree, God has called you both accept the charges because It’s only up from here. I love y’all

I met Veda back in 9th or 10th grade through a mutual friend. Veda has always been vibrant and spunky as long as I have known her. After highschool, our lives went off on separate ventures and we later reconnected in Dallas. We have been bonded ever since. She is my forever sister. We can call on each other no matter time of day or night. I met Ricky in 2021 at a club out on the patio. He has been my "cuz" ever since. Ricky is a fun, caring, true gentleman. You both are family. I am so happy two most deserving people have found each other. Wishing you an everlasting marriage filled with happiness, laughter, lots of love and fun. It warms my heart to see the two of you so happy.

I am Veda’s daughter, firstborn. I’ve had the divine pleasure of witnessing my mother’s unconditional efforts to love. I have always thought she is deserving of nothing short of a king. I have always been super protective as she has been my rock. I have known no love greater than my mothers. My siblings and I have prayed for this union. Someone to love, support, provide, and protect our mother…most importantly someone that adds to her light. I am truly grateful for the love she and Ricky share as I have seen how he genuinely not only cares for my mother but our family. I am truly amazed at how well they complement each other. It has been genuine since day one. I am so honored to be a part and wish nothing but a lifetime of abundant everlasting love and blessings for my mom and pops. I love y’all!

Who Dat (No Really “Who Dat”)! It was an unforgettable win on January 7, 2011 between the Saint’s and the Detroit Lions, and Mary’s Southern Cuisine & Entertainment was electric!! The atmosphere was complete with celebration, music, good food and dancing overfilled every corner. As I was making my way through the crowd our mutual friend, Damon Graham, asked me to meet his sister Veda. During our walk to the table he was so excited and confident we would instantly click since we were so much alike, boy was he wrong! Within 10 seconds of him introducing me to the table she rolled her eyes and turned her back…lol Well her back didn’t stay turned for long, and by the end of the night a decade of “TwinShip” was sparked. We have laughed together, cried together, experienced new ventures together, and now I have the opportunity to watch her experience unconditional love. Ricky and Veda, you both have given to each other from first sight and I am honored to have a first-class seat to continue watching your love grow. With the art of compromising, consideration and continually connecting the sky is the limit. Love you both.

I grew up with Ricky way back in the day, Westside/Carolyn St. and Mississippi Avenue. Eastside/Ruddle Heights! Few years apart, but as we got older we got closer and became like fucking brothers. It was always us two shooting out somewhere or going to hoop, whatever. I met his fiancée through him. I definitely wish them the best and to know that a marriage is a great job! It’s work! Dedication! Communication! All of that! It’s going to take both of them at all times. It’s them and nobody else. Cheers to a lifetime!

I stand with you as you embark on this life long journey with your lovely bride to be Veda. I love you both and I'm excited to see what God manifests through your union. God speed...

Man Rick has been my brother for a long time, but for Veda, I met her on FaceTime while I was chopping Rick up lol. He talked about her often, and as he talked about her, I could see him glow... Then one day, He pulled up to the shop with Veda, and right then, I knew that they were the perfect match. The way they accommodated each other was amazing! Man shout out to y’all for making what was supposed to happen happen 🦾

Ricky and I met in junior high school and played sports together. Since meeting him, I’ve considered Rick to be my long-time brother. Over the years we have grown closer as friends/ brothers. When I saw him and Veda together, I knew she was the one for him. I could instantly tell that he was finally truly happy and it brought a smile to my face. I am so happy that he has found the woman that God has for him. Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord Proud of you Rick and excited to see what God has in store for both of you! -Ro

Although I have only known Ricky for a few years, I feel like he has been one of my boys I've known most of my life. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the healthy and unconditional love that he and Veda share. Please continue to be that positive example to others of what a relationship should look like. My continued prayer is that they keep God at the center of their relationship and that their love and respect grows for each other forever. With much love, Your brother Olish aka O
