Royal Alcázar of Seville
Alcázar was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1987 and is possibly the most iconic site in Seville. It is also the home of the royal family when they visit Seville, and as such is the oldest royal residence in Europe still in use. One of the highlights of the Alcázar that you can’t miss is the stunning Patio de las Doncellas courtyard and lush gardens. If you are a fan of "Game of Thrones", in the fifth season of the show the gardens became the city of Sunspear. We recommended buying your tickets online at least a month in advance; they sell out quickly. Parque De Maria Luisa
Parque de María Luisa (María Luisa Park) is a public park that stretches along the Guadalquivir River in Seville, Spain. It is Seville's principal green area. The park is home to many monuments and to numerous ponds and fountains.The Plaza de España was a principal building built on the park's edge to showcase Spain's industry and technology exhibits. The complex is a huge half-circle with buildings continually running around the edge accessible over the moat by numerous beautiful bridges. ------------------- El Parque de María Luisa es un parque público que se extiende a lo largo del río Guadalquivir en Sevilla. Plaza de España
Plaza de España, nested in the beautiful Maria Luisa Park, is a spectacular sight that you cannot miss. One of the most photographed spots in historic Seville, and yet many are surprised to learn that it’s not even a hundred years old. In fact, the plaza was created for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition World’s Fair. The grand semi-circular plaza is a feast to the eyes with its coral bricks and beautiful blue and yellow titles. Along the perimeter of the plaza, you will find a canal that you can tour by boat in the summer. Visit early in the morning to avoid the crowd and the afternoon heat. -------------------- La Plaza de España, anidada en el hermoso Parque de María Luisa, es una vista espectacular que no te puedes perder. Catedral de Sevilla/La Giralda
Completed in 1502, Sevilla’s cathedral is the third-largest church in Europe and the largest Gothic church anywhere. Christopher Columbus, whose famous voyage was commissioned by the Spanish monarchs Isabella I and Fernando II, is entombed inside. Walk up the steps of the La Giralda for beautiful views of the city. Setas de Sevilla
The Metropol Parasol, popularly known as the Mushrooms (Las Setas) is a five level wooden structure. The upper level contains a lookout point and a panoramic route that covers most of the area. From there you have a beautiful view of the city. ------ Las Setas es una estructura de madera de cinco niveles. El nivel superior contiene un mirador y una ruta panorámica que cubre la mayor parte del área. Desde allí se tiene una hermosa vista de la ciudad.
