Question

Where is the venue? What time should we arrive?

Answer

Carolina Grove is the name of the venue and located here: 1001 Lipscomb Grove Church Rd, Hillsborough, NC 27278 Arrive for the ceremony at 3:30pm, the ceremony starts at 4pm.

How do we get to the venue/is there parking?

Answer

If you are driving, there is parking! But if you don’t plan to drive, we suggest getting an Uber to the venue. Unfortunately it is difficult to get an Uber back to Durham late at night from the venue but we will be providing a shuttle service back to Durham after the wedding. This will allow you to get back to town and easily get an Uber or walk to your rental/hotel.

When should we fly in?

Answer

That is up to you and your schedule. We will be arriving late Friday most likely in order to be there early to settle in and also do the rehearsal, so if you are part of the wedding party please try to arrive before Saturday late afternoon/early evening.

When should we fly out?

Answer

Vaughn will have work on Tuesday and so we will be heading back to Fayetteville Monday night. But feel free to extend your vacation as long as you desire!

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal. Come dressed looking your best!

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The wedding is in January so we are slightly at the mercy of the weather but weather permitting the ceremony (which will be short) will take place outdoors, the cocktail hour will be half outdoors and half undercover with heaters, and the reception will be indoors. If the weather on the day of seems like it is going to take a turn for the worst or be too cold, everything will be moved inside.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Averages are in the 60s, according to our venue. But there are days when its in the 50s or 70s, so keep an eye out on the weather as the date gets closer.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

Mediterranean-ish and very allergy friendly. If you know the bride, then you know she has a large quantity of allergies and nearly everything being served she will be able to eat or can easily modify to eat.

Can we take photos during the wedding?

Answer

We are asking everyone to be unplugged during the ceremony aka no photos during the ceremony. Don’t worry, we have a photographer for that! But feel free to take photos throughout the rest of the night and be sure to tag us using #mooreinlove2025
