What date should I RSVP by?

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

A shuttle will be available to and from the Four Points Sheraton Sesimbra for all the events. A more detailed schedule will be provided closer to the wedding date, stay tuned!

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

In addition to the shuttle we're be providing, you're more than welcome to call an Uber to your destination. We advise you to stick to the shuttle schedule as Ubers from the venue back to the hotel can cause for a longer wait time.

Will there be transportation to/from the airport to the hotels?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to and from the airport. Ubers and Rideshares are widely available and safe. From the airport to the Four Points, it is approximately 1hr 30min, depending on traffic.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All wedding events will be held outdoors except for the reception. The reception will be indoors with some some lounges outside the tent.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We're very excited for our friends and families to dress up for the big day! While there are no dress code requirements, please keep in mind the colors / themes for each event. For all events, feel free to wear Indian, Indo-Western, or Western attire, whatever you feel most comfortable in. Haldi Welcome Party: This daytime event will be held at our venue by the pool. The overall theme is casual and fun, but please stick to yellows, oranges, reds and/or whites. For women, think of daytime summer dresses or Indian attire. For men, business casual or Indian attire would be appropriate. Mehndi/Sangeet Night: This evening/sunset event will be held at outdoors at our venue. There will be music, mehndi (henna), and some dancing throughout the night, so we encourage you to think of more gemstone colors or sunset colors. For women, evening dresses or Indian attire, and for men, blazers, slacks, or Indian attire. Please note, this portion of the event is taking place on gravel, so please wear comfortable shoes accordingly. Thanks!! Wedding: Our wedding will be an outdoor afternoon event. In line with Indian tradition, you are welcome to wear any color you'd like, however, please avoid white and black (for dresses, black suits are perfectly fine). For women, Indian attire or Western wedding attire, and for men, suits or Indian attire would be appropriate. Reception: Our reception is indoor / outdoor immediately following the wedding. If you choose to change outfits for the reception, we're happy to open up the indoor part of the venue to hold your bags/provide you with rooms to change. Additionally, if you choose to wear the same outfit from the wedding to the reception, that is completely fine, this will give you more time to enjoy the cocktail hour! In terms of attire, this event is formal. For women, we'd suggest evening gowns or Indian attire; for men, we'd recommend suits or Indian attire.

What is the weather like in the area?

The temperatures in Lisbon in September are comfortable with lows of 62°F and and highs of 80°F.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to host as many people as we can, your invitation will specify exactly how many seats have been saved in your honor.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

Yes! We both have growing families and friends - however, please keep in mind, there will be loud music and drinking during the evening events.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

A variety of vegetarian Indian food will be served during all the wedding events. We're very excited to for you to enjoy the menu!
