Mehndi Night is a fun and meaningful pre-wedding celebration where the bride has intricate henna (mehndi) applied to her hands and feet. It’s a laid-back evening to kick off the wedding festivities surrounded by family and friends. Guests are welcome to get their own mehndi done too! Come dressed in something colorful and festive, and get ready for a joyful evening full of love and tradition under the Cabo sunset.
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Guests usually wear yellow, orange, or other bright hues. This is one of the more casual events, so don’t worry about being too fancy - light, festive, and comfortable outfits are perfect since things might get a little messy.
The Haldi ceremony is a beautiful and lighthearted pre-wedding tradition where family and friends gather to apply a turmeric paste (haldi) to the bride and groom. It’s believed to bring good luck, ward off evil, and give the couple that signature wedding-day glow! Expect lots of laughter, a bit of (playful) mess, and a whole lot of love. It’s a relaxed event, so feel free to wear something comfortable.

What’s a Sangeet? The Sangeet is one of the most fun pre-wedding events in Indian culture - a night full of music, dancing, and celebration! Traditionally, families and friends come together to perform dances, sing songs, and kick off the festivities with lots of energy and fun. Think of it as a lively welcome party where everyone’s invited to hit the dance floor (no performances required - unless you want to!). Guests usually wear bright, colorful outfits to match the festive vibe - think bold colors and fun prints. Get ready for great food, vibrant music, and unforgettable memories!

The Baraat is the groom’s wedding procession before the ceremony, and it’s one of the most lively, high-energy parts of an Indian wedding! Traditionally, the groom arrives to the ceremony dancing alongside his family and friends, often with a drum (dhol) leading the way and a lot of celebration. It’s basically a mobile dance party that kicks off the wedding day! Everyone is welcome to join in, so bring your best dance moves and get ready to party before the ceremony begins!

Our wedding ceremony will follow traditional Hindu customs, which are rich in symbolism, joy, and meaning. It will take place under a beautifully decorated mandap (altar), where sacred rituals like the saptapadi (seven steps) and offerings to the sacred fire represent the vows we make to one another. Most of it will be in Sanskrit, which means we won’t blame you if you don’t know exactly what’s going on - we might not either. But don’t worry! We’ll have a translator guiding you through each step. It’s a ceremony full of tradition, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
