Hampton Inn Athens

We have a hotel block here! There are 20 rooms available, $209/night each. The cutoff to book is July 14th. Don't worry about the distance, there will be a shuttle going between this hotel, the Fairfield Inn, and the Union! The shuttle will run multiple times throughout the day and night so you won't have to worry about driving to and from the venue!

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Athens

We have a hotel block here! There are 10 rooms available, $209/night each. The cutoff to book is July 14th. Don't worry about the distance, there will be a shuttle going between this hotel, the Hampton Inn, and the Union! The shuttle will run multiple times throughout the day and night so you won't have to worry about driving to and from the venue!

Ohio University Inn and Conference Center

We also have a hotel block here! There are 15 rooms available, $215/night each. This hotel is within walking distance of the Union! The walk is about 17 minutes and is pretty much a straight shot. However, there is no shuttle for if you decide to stay here, so be ready for a walk! (You can totally drive or Uber/Lyft too!)

Flight

John Glenn International Airport (KCMH)

If you're going to be flying in, John Glenn International is definitely the place to fly to. It's in Columbus which is about an hour and 20 minutes away from Athens. You can either rent a car or book a ticket on the GoBus to get from the airport to Athens!

Travel Note

GoBus

The GoBus is a great and cheap way to get from the airport to either the Athens Community Center or OU's Campus at Ohio University Baker Center! Tickets are about $10 each way and can be booked up to 120 days in advance. The bus is large with very comfortable seats. It's something that I (Michael) take whenever I need to go to/from the airport and can't get a ride.

Parking at the Venue

If you decide to drive, there is paid (until 6pm) street parking available around the venue. Alternatively, there is a parking garage on E Washington Street (about a block away from the venue) which costs $1/hr.
