Flight

San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD)

After landing at San José del Cabo Airport, follow the signs to Immigration and have your passport ready. Once through Immigration, collect your luggage and proceed to Customs. Most travelers pass through Customs without any issues, though you may be randomly selected for a brief luggage inspection. If this happens, simply follow the agent's instructions—it is a routine process and does not mean anything is wrong. After clearing Customs, continue through the airport and head outside to meet your transportation. Along the way, you may encounter representatives offering tours, activities, transportation services, and timeshare presentations. This area is NOT dangerous, but stopping to hear about these offers may delay your arrival at the resort. If you're interested in booking excursions or activities during your stay, we recommend waiting until you arrive at the hotel. The resort's concierge works with trusted vendors and will be happy to help you arrange activities during your trip.

Cabo Travel Solutions

The Cabo Travel Solutions shuttle pickup area is located straight ahead after you exit the airport. Continue all the way toward Umbrella Booths 12 and 13. As you walk outside, you'll notice the shuttle stops are clearly numbered. If you're unsure where to go or feeling a little overwhelmed, don't hesitate to ask an airport employee where the Cabo Travel Solutions shuttle stop is located—they are very helpful, patient, and happy to point you in the right direction. As mentioned on our wedding website, if you choose the shared shuttle option, we recommend booking one-way transportation from the airport to the hotel only. For your return trip to the airport, the resort's concierge can assist with arranging transportation and help ensure you leave with plenty of time to make your flight home.

Airport Transportation

Taxis are an option but they can cost between $70-$90 one way. We have worked with Cabo Travel Solutions to provide you with a link for discounted airport travel rates. If you choose to do the shared shuttle keep in mind for round trips they have 3 pick up times of 09:00am - 10:45am - 01:00pm. We recommend a one way trip and booking your return trip at the hotel concierge, that is what we did the first time visiting Pueblo Bonito! Please make sure to write in the comments you're traveling with the Varela/Druker Wedding.

Cancellation Policy and No Shows

• Individual Guests Room Cancellations made up to 21 days prior to guest’s arrival, will be fully refundable. Cancellation must be made before 5:00 pm local time (MST) and a written cancellation confirmation must be received. • Individual Guests Room Cancellations made from 20 days to 0 days, prior to guest arrival, will be charged 1 night of confirmed stay at the group rate. • Individuals with guaranteed reservations, who fail to arrive on the confirmed date, will be charged the group rate for the reserved nights (full stay). • Late arrivals and early departures will be charged for their confirmed stay at the group rate. • When cancellation is made for medical reasons, hotel will require a signed medical report to waive any cancellation fees.

Getting around the resort

Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach is 50-acres, meaning some places may not be walking distances from your room. You can call for cart service from your room, or there are phones all throughout the resort where you can request a cart. If there is no phone nearby, you can wait in a designated waiting area and a cart will stop for you, or send another cart to pick you up.
