We're Getting Married!

Jamie and Sam first met back in middle school English class, where Jamie wrote his phone number on a piece of paper and gave it to Sam, they instantly clicked. Despite being in different friend groups, their personalities drew them together. Amidst the childish drama, they cherished their friendship, sharing secret midnight texts and FaceTime calls. As they navigated middle school, their bond remained strong. They'd sneak away at football games to spend time together, laughing and enjoying each other's company. Even after graduation, when they went their separate ways in high school, their connection remained unbroken. Many years later, in college, Sam reached out to Jamie about his like on one of her tweets, reigniting their friendship. They started meeting the first day Jamie landed from Aruba and met almost every day ever since. Exploring Boston from boba tea, ice cream, and of spending evenings watching movies together; it soon became evident to the two of them that they didn’t want to spend a second of the day away from each other—just like when they first met. As time passed, their desire to be together grew stronger. They tested the limits of their relationship during the Pandemic by spending 24/7 together in quarantine. Sam supported Jamie through college, first at MassBay and then at Bentley. Sam graduated and became a nurse, and is currently working towards her bachelors degree in nursing—with the roles reversed and now Jamie supporting Sam as she works overtime and completes school. This all led to a beautiful getaway in Cabo—and at Playa Monumentos (Monuments Beach) with the iconic arch in the background and roses in the sand in the shape of a heart… Jamie got down on one knee and asked Sam for her hand in marriage—both knowing they wanted to spend the rest of their life's journeys together—no matter what may come in the future; side by side through it all.
