We're getting married!

Jesse and Rachel first crossed paths at Lifehouse Church in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by mutual friends. For years, they knew of each other, but it wasn’t until they began serving as leaders on their youth group worship team that sparks quietly started to fly. Life had a twist in store—Jesse learned he’d be moving soon. This news sparked deeper conversations, and the two began to realize there might be something special between them. Their first date at the zoo started at 10 a.m., but hours flew by as they explored, laughed, and talked. By 5 p.m., they couldn’t hide it anymore—they both admitted they had feelings for each other. A month later, they officially became a couple. But just as their love story began, Jesse’s move arrived in December 2023. Long distance is no one’s ideal, but for them, it turned into an adventure, with Jesse and Rachel meeting up in Virginia, Washington, Maryland, Alaska, and Texas. Each reunion was filled with love, faith, and many air miles traveled. In October 2024, Jesse proposed, and Rachel said yes! Their journey may have been unexpected, but it’s a beautiful chapter in God’s plan, proving that when the timing is right, everything falls perfectly into place. Rachel & Jesse look forward to beginning the adventure of married life living in Northern Virginia.
