Lisbon International Airport (Humberto Delgado Airport) is the primary gateway to Portugal, located just 5 miles from the heart of the city. Whether you're arriving by rental car, Uber, or train, getting to Lisbon is quick and easy. The wedding venue is an approximate 1 hour and 30 minute drive from the airport, with a variety of transportation options available for your convenience, as listed below. Please note when flying out of Lisbon to the USA: you will need to go through both security (typically 15-30 minutes) and customs (15-45 minutes) prior to boarding. Customs is located far beyond the main security and just before the international gates, so make sure to check your gate before relaxing at the lounges!

Spanning an impressive 2,400 acres, the Convento invites our wedding guests to immerse themselves in centuries of history and stunning beauty. The property will be exclusively available to our guests to explore on October 1st and 2nd, with immediate family and the bridal party invited to stay at the Convento during these nights. Additional rooms at the property will be offered to guests on a first-come, first-served basis upon RSVP. We would love for all of our wedding guests to make full use of the Convento's beautiful amenities, including scenic hiking trails, two pools, and multiple paddle courts. You will be fully cared for with lunch, Portuguese snacks, and your favorite drinks available throughout the day, in addition to our Welcome and Wedding Dinners. Everything you need is right here, so feel free to settle in and truly relax - you won’t need to leave the property unless you want to!

We are delighted to host our wedding guests at the Pousada Castelo Estremoz Historic Hotel! Pousada Castelo Estremoz is located in the city of Estremoz, 20 minutes from Convento São Paulo, in a castle built for Queen Santa Isabel in the 13th century. In the historic city center, it is the perfect place for you to discover Estremoz and the beauty of the "White City", known for its marble buildings dating back to Roman times. From the Torre de Menagem Tower, you can enjoy panoramic views of Estremoz and Alentejo. We have a limited number of rooms available at the Pousada hotel. To help us manage reservations, hotel booking details will be shared individually after we have received your RSVP. We will follow up directly with those that we are able to accommodate within the room block. In the meantime, please explore other wonderful places to stay in Estremoz! A shuttle will be available for roundtrip transportation of guests staying at Hotel Pousada Castelo Estremoz to Convento de São Paulo for the Welcome Dinner on October 1st & the Wedding Ceremony on October 2nd. The location and departure times of the shuttle will be updated as our schedule is finalized in the near future! Note: If you will be staying at alternative accommodations near Pousada Castelo Estremoz, you are more than welcome to use the shuttle service. Just kindly let the bride or groom know in advance so we can ensure to include you in the head count!
