Our first priority is the safety of our friends and family. We want to make sure that the folks celebrating with us can enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that everyone around them is vaccinated. Based on the current and forecasted availability of the vaccine, everyone will have had the opportunity to be fully vaccinated by August 7, 2021 (two weeks prior to the event). We were headed up to the mountain with Annie, Chris, and Marta (my sister and family) to take photos in the snow. While getting ready, I mentioned that if we post a bunch of quality photos of the two of us that they would be mistaken for engagement photos. Ironic, I know. While posing at our alpine photo shoot, Travis took both of my hands, and I immediately pulled them away saying, "We can't pose like that, it'll look like we're getting married." It was a solid setup and Travis shrugged and said, "Well..." and pulled the ring box out of his pocket. The surprise mission was a success.
