Kayla is Vangi's sister. They're 7 years apart but are basically twins. They are sometimes scarily alike in the way they love food, need to constantly explain why some purchase was "a really great deal," and show up to events in unplanned matching outfits. There's always a chance they'll start laughing and never stop, and someday they will host their dream Christmas party together because they will be neighbors and you all will be invited (stay tuned for that new tradition).

Becca and Vangi have known each other since they were 15 but went 5 years without seeing each other. They reconnected at Covenant, picked up right where they left off, became roomies for 3 years and are forever friends:) Becca taught Vangi she could eat ice cream directly from the carton and was a friend at first sight.

Elizabeth Ertel

Elizabeth and Vangi’s first connection was being assigned as prayer partners on the hall in their dorm. They bonded in a 2021 quarantine room and have stuck together ever since. Elizabeth is now Vangi’s roommate (until May 18!) and she’s sticking around Chattanooga to be Knox and Vangi’s bestie for life:)

Bethany Edwards

Bethany is Vangi’s longest college friend. From living on the same hall freshman year to joining a small group together as post-grad adults Bethany has seen it all. She is the most consistent friend always seeking intentional time together and she’s also the life of every party and has spent the last 6 years making sure Vangi gets out and enjoys the fun things in life:)

Karis Gibson

Karis is Vangi’s soon to be sister in law. She has always made Vangi feel like such a part of the Gibson fam and knows just how to time a great laugh. She and Vangi met for the first time at an infamous Nana dinner complete with ham delights and strawberry cake and they’ve been sweet friends ever since:)

Katy Gibson

Katy is Vangi’s soon to be sister in law. Katy and Vangi have spent lots of hours on the beach in Orange Beach, AL and the lake in Lake Martin building sand castles, imagining other worlds, and tubing and skiing till it hurts. Katy is kind and loves fiercely and has a knack for making you feel right at home as soon as she meets you.

Khloe Gibson

Khloe is Vangi’s soon to be sister in law. She and Vangi have been family vacation roomies which has led to lots of late night convos. They both share a love of adventure and you’ll likely find them jet skiing together or picking out their favorite new nail design. Khloe brings light and joy to every room she walks into:)
