Travel

We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with you! Before you RSVP, we kindly ask that you consider any travel arrangements and costs, and plan ahead to join us. We truly hope you can be there but definitely understand if you cannot make it. Please find all the information you may need to arrange your travel below.

Flight

Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport

Welcome to paradise! When you arrive in Puerto Vallarta, you’ll first go through immigration and customs—have your passport handy. After customs, you’ll pass through an area filled with timeshare salespeople offering rides and deals. They can be persistent, but just keep walking confidently toward the exit—they are not affiliated with the airport or your hotel. If you’ve arranged a shuttle or private driver, they’ll be waiting for you outside the terminal with a sign. Taxis are also available, but be sure to confirm the fare before you get in. Uber does work in Puerto Vallarta, though airport pickup can sometimes be tricky due to local regulations. Most places accept credit cards and U.S. dollars, but it’s a good idea to have some pesos on hand for tips or small purchases. Expect warm, tropical weather the second you land, so dress cool and comfy. Welcome to Mexico… let the wedding adventure begin!

Travel Note

Location of Venue

Our venue is about 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Downtown Puerto Vallarta, so we suggest staying closer to the venue for a night or two around the wedding day for convenience

Travel Note

Where should I stay?

There are plenty of beautiful villas, cozy Airbnbs, and charming boutique resorts nearby. Many of our guests will be staying in the area, so you’ll have good company no matter where you choose. We recommend booking early to get the best spots!
