Our story began in Puerto Vallarta... We had each been invited to celebrate the marriage of our friends but never expected that a new love story, our own, was already in the works. From the moment we met, there was a spark. Vanessa couldn’t take her eyes off Zach and she knew right away she needed to know more. Meanwhile, Zach was trying to play it coy but failed, obviously. As our friend's wedding festivities continued, we soon discovered that we were the only two guests who had extended our stays, unknowingly, to the same departure day. What followed was a blur of unforgettable memories: dancing under starlit skies, snorkeling in crystal blue waters, swimming with dolphins, and laughing like we had known each other our whole lives. Each moment felt like it was a scripted Hallmark movie only this time, it was real. And it was ours. On our final day in Mexico, the reality of leaving hit hard. We were headed back to opposite corners of the country: Zach to Massachusetts and Vanessa to Washington. Saying goodbye felt impossible because, even though we had only just met, it was as if we were leaving a piece of ourselves behind. Every mile traveled, every time zone crossed, every late-night phone call shared, only deepened what we had started in Mexico. Now, as we stand on the edge of forever, we look back on those first days with both gratitude and wonder. We had traveled to witness someone else’s love story and in return found our own.
