Raphel better known as "Sosa" is the best man of the groom. He served with Jacob onboard USS Cheyenne. They went on two deployments together, scrubbed toilets together, and lived together. Sosa is one of Jacob's closest friends. He is the life of the party, funny, full of energy, and not scared of a good dance battle.

Sierra has been by Jacob's side as a sister figure and cousin throughout his life. Sierra and Vanessa became close friends and sidekicks to making fun of Jacob and supporting him. She is amazing, fun and outgoing.
Caine Braswell

Caine Braswell is one of Jacob's best friends and is considered family. They met in elementary school and have been friends ever since. Sine they were kids they were tag team partners. Weather it was dishes, call of duty, or cutting grass. They continue to build their bond as friends and brothers.
Amanda Matthews

Amanda is one of Vanessa's best friends! They met during Vanessa's time at Azusa Pacific, from they moment they met they both knew their friendship would mean so much. Amanda has been by Vanessa's side through the many deployments and celebrations. Amanda is a fellow Navy partner and understands the joys and pains that come with loving someone in the military.
Matthew Miller

Matthew Miller is Jacob's cousin. From wresting on the trampoline, stay up late playing Halo, throwing the football around. Matthew and Jacob have been there for each other since the beginning and continue to strengthen and uplift each other.

Viviana and Vanessa met in the third grade and have stuck by each others side ever since. For as long as they can remember they kept the nicknames "Vivi and Vanny". Last year Vanessa had the honor of standing by Viviana as she married her awesome husband Terray now Viviana gets to celebrate with Vanessa in the same way!
Trent Pope

Trent Pope met Jacob at church camp when they were in middle school. From sporting events to comic con their similarities continue to strengthen their friendship. Every chance they get Trent never passes up an opportunity to get dunked on in a friendly 1v1 basketball game.
Corina Schneider

Corina and Vanessa met during their time at Azusa Pacific, they met during freshmen year and became roommates during their junior year! Corina is a huge inspiration to Vanessa and has served as a major God-centered friendship for many years. When Corina married her husband Troy, Vanessa had the blessing of standing next to Corina on her big day. Vanessa cannot wait to look over and see Corina by her side as well.
Jose Brown

Jose Brown is one of Vanessa's friends from her graduate program. Vanessa and Jose wouldn't have made it through grad school, internships and the pandemic without each other. Jose has been a brother to Vanessa and has encouraged her on her hardest days. Jose is a great servant for the Lord! Once he met Jacob he knew Jacob was the man for Vanessa and would try to compete for his friendship lol. They realized they shared interest in Jesus and the anime Naruto. Jose is the life of the party and might break out in worship at any moment.

Anisa is Vanessa's go to karaoke singer and cousin, she has always been a constant support throughout Vanessa's life. Throughout childhood they would spend hours dancing, singing and going to concerts. Vanessa is excited to have Anisa on this journey with her.

Mariano has been Vanessa's best friend since 7th grade. Mariano and Vanessa have been through so much together from junior high dances, graduations and adulting. Mariano is kind, thoughtful and hard working. He has encouraged Vanessa and has become family since the first day they met. Mariano is a triple threat!

Autumn has been one of Vanessa's closest friends since middle school! They met playing softball for many years and then went to the same high school where they would do everything together. Vanessa has been blessed with a friend like Autumn who is loyal, trust worthy and a constant presence of support!
