Either works (but what works best depends on the country/city where you will be traveling). Here are some things to keep in mind when planning: -One-way tickets from NYC to Istanbul ARE SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER than one-way tickets from Istanbul to NYC -These are the cities with *non-stop flights* to Izmir airport (ABD) which is closest to Alaçatı (wedding location): (IN TURKEY): Istanbul Ankara Antalya Adana Gaziantep Diyarbakır Trabzon Samsun Erzurum Van Kayseri Konya Mardin Şanlıurfa Elazığ Hatay Malatya (IN GREECE) Athens Thessaloniki (seasonal) *There is also a 25-min ferry from Çeşme Port to Chicos, Greece. We love your children and families so much 🤍 If you choose to extend your trip into a family vacation, please note that our hosted wedding events — Cocktails & Mezze in Istanbul, the Welcome Dinner in Alaçatı, and the Wedding & Reception — are intentionally intimate, adults-only gatherings limited to the guests named on your invitation. However, the Beach Club afternoon the day after the wedding is open to anyone who would like to join.
