Their story began the modern way—on Hinge—after Vanessa swiped right on Eduardo. They spent a few weeks texting and getting to know each other before Eduardo planned their first date at Wine Garden, an Italian restaurant by the beach. What was meant to be a simple dinner turned into hours of effortless conversation, lasting so long that the restaurant eventually had to close around them. Still not ready to say goodbye, they took a walk along the beach and continued talking late into the night. From that very first evening, they both knew they wanted each other in their lives forever. Since then, they’ve been inseparable—traveling the world together, playing pickleball, cooking side by side, and building a life rooted in love and laughter. Their shared love of travel ultimately led them to choose a destination wedding in Medellín, Colombia, a place they fell in love with for its vibrant culture, incredible food, warm people, and the undeniable magic that made it feel like the perfect place to begin their forever.
