Seaside Cabanas

We have reserved a room block for this hotel for 4/27/19 - 5/4/19 that is good until 10/26/18. We will try to extend our block if people have not booked by then but this is not guaranteed. Brian and I have stayed here in 2016 and loved the location and rooms. It's located immediately next to the water taxi dock, so no golf cart taxi will be needed to take you there if that's how you arrive on the island. Like all hotels on Caye Caulker, Seaside Cabanas is small and has only 18 rooms. We expect to fully book out this hotel and so it is encouraged to book soon to insure the room you want. Only your first night will be held on your credit card, and the remaining balance is due when you check out of the hotel. To book, please email info@seasidecabanas.com, say you are with Vanessa and Brian's wedding and ask what rooms are currently available to book. Their website will show all rooms booked because of the block.

Pura Vida Hotel, Caye Caulker

Brian and I stayed here in 2017 and loved it! Theres an awesome rooftop with amazing views and a small pool on the ocean. They have an awesome pier that you can swim right off of. We spent our days here playing bags next to the ocean. It's directly next door to our favorite Bloody Mary spot, Island Magic. Its a small hotel with only 5 rooms, some of which have kitchens.

Island Magic Beach Resort

This hotel has the most amazing pier with swing seats overlooking the water and a great restaurant. We have never stayed here but the rooms and views look great. The pool is very large and they have a cool rooftop also. A couple rooms have a pull out couch so this would be a great option for those traveling in three's. Booking.com has great prices on this hotel.

Caye Caulker

Feel free to look into other accommodations on the island. The island itself is very small and almost everything is walking distance to Seaside Cabanas if you chose to stay elsewhere. Please feel free to ask us for our opinion on a certain AirBnB or other hotel option!

Getting to Caye Caulker via Water Taxi (Cheaper, but slower)

From the airport, you can take a water taxi to Caye Caulker. Click on "view" directly below and choose "Airport-Hotel Transfer Package" for BZ to Caye Caulker. Enjoy the scenic boat ride. This package includes - a 20 minute cab from the Belize international airport to the water taxi station. - a 45 minute boat ride from the water taxi station to Caye Caulker - golf cart to your hotel *If you choose to not pre purchase a package, you can also easily get a cab at the airport ($25 USD per cab) to the water taxi station. You can buy a one way or round trip ticket at the port for Caye Caulker($18USD one way or $28 round trip), a porter will take your luggage and give you a claim ticket, and you will board the next water taxi to Caye Caulker. **Please check out the website below for water taxi departure times from Belize City. We suggest not booking a flight that arrives into Belize International Airport later than 3:30 pm if you plan to take a water taxi.

Getting to Caye Caulker via plane (More expensive but quick)

Another method for getting to Caye Caulker is by a small jet, 12 minute flight from BZE airport. This is the quicker, easier, but more expensive option. You would not need to leave the airport and just book a separate flight via Tropic Air on their website.

Water Taxi Information

There are 2 separate water taxi companies that will take you from Belize City to Caye Caulker, Ocean Ferry & Belize Express. We recommend Belize Express as their boat fleet seems to be nicer. However, both companies will take you to Caye Caulker safely, and drop you off extremely close to Seaside Cabanas. ** Be sure to keep your luggage claim ticket. A porter will take your luggage and you claim it when you arrive in Caye Caulker.
