Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Vanessa Fox and Brian Pientka
We are so excited to bring all of our favorite people to our favorite place! Here are some of our favorite spots with approximate costs, to get an idea of prices on the island. There are too many favorites to list, and we've never had a bad meal on the island. You can save money and easily spend less than $20 per day on food by eating at the many awesome food stands and seaside grills. Our typical Caye Caulker day starts with a fry jack for breakfast (<$3), sharing ceviche for lunch (<$10), and fresh snapper for dinner (<$10) but we definitely splurge some days too! You will find everything from pizza and sandwiches to falafel and tacos to fresh caught fish laid out on tables as the menu on the island. There truly is something for everyone!

Stressless Tours

Caye Caulker, Belize
, 624-6064

We used this company for a fishing and snorkeling adventure. They're super friendly and kind to the reef. However, we are sure you will have an awesome adventure with whomever you book a snorkel trip on the island. Check out TripAdvisor for reviews.

Caribbean Colors Art Cafe

Caye Caulker, Belize
605-9242

Fantastic breakfasts and iced coffee. Also, a great spot for a healthy lunch and checking out local artists' work. Located across from the basketball court. About $10 per person

Maggie's Sunset Kitchen

Caye Caulker, Belize
633-4530

Delicious Belizian cuisine, located on the west side of the island, beautiful sunsets, and fresh seafood specials. About $10-15 per person

Barrier Reef Sports Bar & Grill

Caye Caulker, Belize
, 226-0077

Large drink menu, more "American" bar food menu, fun and lively at night, located right by the water taxi pier. Amazing ceviche and views!

Lazy Lizard Bar and Grill

Belize
226-0636

Amazing views and vibe. DJ's, cornhole, swimming, buckets of beer, and so much fun. A perfect place to relax, people watch, and fish watch all day. Also, the most amazing sunset views!

Koko King Watertaxi

Calle del Sol, Belize, Belize

Across the narrow water passage from the split (the map location above is where their boat picks you up and drops you off, typically coming and going every 15 minutes) This is our wedding location! You can easily spend the day away here, with an amazing beach area, great bar, food, and laid back vibes.

Chef Juan's Kitchen and Pastries

Belize

Amazing Key Lime pie, awesome and inexpensive lunch and dinner, BYOB

Chef Kareem's Unbelizable Lunch Caye Caulker

Belize

We love Kareems for lunch! Just a grill and a couple tables on your walk to the split, this is authentic Belizian food. Aim to get there before 2:00 pm, as he always sells out of food. Choice of BBQ or Jerk chicken, fish, or shrimp, and always with rice and beans. Grab a beer or 2 across the street and eat some delicious authentic Belizian food on picnic tables. About $6 BYOB

Errolyn's House Of Fryjacks

Caye Caulker Avenida Langosta, Belize

Our favorite breakfast! We get this almost everyday we are there. Fryjacks are a Belizian specialty, fluffy bread stuffed with your choice of fillings. Brian gets everything and I like beans, ham, and cheese. About $3

Il Pellicano Cucina Italiania

Pasero Street, Belize
226-0660

Amazing Italian food and the nicest restaurant on the island. We highly recommend the mushroom truffle pasta and a nice red wine. I believe our meal here was about $100, including wine.

Island Magic Beach Resort

Avenida Hicaco, Caye Caulker, Belize
, 226-0505

Just south of Seaside Cabanas, this hotel has a great bar with an awesome setting. We love getting bloody marys here and an appetizer on their pier side swing chairs and tables.

For all the days along the way
