On the 4th we will have an informal gathering by the pool. This is arrival day, we are not sure what time guests will arrive so we will start by gathering by the pool. We will have light appetizers and either servers or a cash bar. After, we will play it by ear. Potentially, venturing into town for more festivities. Potentially staying at the hotel as there are several bars. Don't have too much fun because, you will be up early on the 5th. ;)

Early Breakfast

Please be at breakfast early enough to be ready to leave for the harbor. Instructions will be provided at closer to.
BOAT PARTY
8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Breakfast is included with your stay at the resort. Please eat something and be ready to leave by 08:00. We will be heading to the marina at this time. There is a private tour booked for all guest this day. This includes a catamaran with a water slide and an introductory to Blake and Vanessa's favorite Costa Rican drink, the chiliguaros shot. Drinks are included in this trip. Lunch is included on this trip. The boat will take us along the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. This time of year is breeding season for humpback whales, fingers crossed we will see them. After a tour of the national park from the coastline we will be anchoring at the famous Playa Biensanz. Snorkel gear is included! BRING SUNSCREEN-the sun is no joke here!
FREE TIME
12:30 pm - 11:00 pm
After the boat, it's free time and there is SO MUCH TO DO in this area. Here are our top picks for the area. 1.) Manuel Antonio National Park (better in early morning-passes are limited). 2.) Rain Maker Park-waterfalls, suspension bridges, swimming. 3.) EAT-the food here is unreal, we especially LOVE Cafe Agua Azul(grilled lobster, not expensive) and the Rico Tico Jungle Grill. BOTH have the most amazing views. 4.) Playa Manuel Antonio-. There are monkeys, frozen drinks, restaurants and shopping. 5.) Rent a jet ski. They rent them right off the beach in Playa Manuel Antonio-CASH ONLY (negotiate with them, it's fun and they will). 6.) Fishing, this area is home to world class fishing. The sailfish above was caught there. You could easily do half day on the wedding day in the morning. 7.) Relax in a hammock on the beach. 8.) Enjoy the resort. Our resort is a wildlife refuge. Manual Antonio National Park-trip into the park.
7:00 am - 11:00 am
This is just a recommendation, the bride and groom may not be there as we will be preparing for our big day BUT, I can't emphasize enough how great this park is. There resort has a shuttle, if you can't meet their timing there is a shuttle that runs the main road of the park, it cost about 50 cents. In order to go to the park you MUST leave early in the morning because tickets sell out fast. People will try and get you to book them as a guide, you don't need this. The entry fee is roughly $20 USD. IF YOU ARE IN THE WEDDING PARTY, PLEASE BE BACK FOR HAIR AND MAKEUP
Hair and Makeup- Brides Room

FOR: SHARON, JEANINE, KAREN, MAGGIE, JESS, TAY-TAY, KIM, COURT AND AVERY. We will meet in my room at 12:00 and begin the makeup/hair process.

Ceremony on the Beach

Beach Wedding/Casual/Tropical
INSTRUCTIONS AND TIMES MAY CHANGE- we will put out instructions the week before. It is very important to be on time, we have to take transportation for the ceremony location. Guys-please break out your most awesome Hawaiian shirt! Ladies-please wear beach vibes style wedding attire. Shoes are not required. ****The hotel will provide a shuttle service from the hotel down to the beach. We will be married on the beach around sunset, take photos and then go back up to the hotel for the after party/dinner/music.
Reception-Fire Dancer, Open Bar Time, Apps, Dinner!
6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
After the wedding we will head from the beach to the terrace where we will have live music, apps, and a fire dancer. From there we will head inside for dinner followed by more dancing and fun.

Early Breakfast

The sad time has come where we have to leave our guests. We know it's early but, we will have to leave the resort by 08:30 to catch a connecting boat to a remote location where we will honey moon. We would love to see everyone one last time before we take off but understand if you had too much fun the night before to get up early for breakfast.
