London, England - yes, you read that right! Even though Zack and I are both from the United States, started college at Troy University at the same time, we're in several organizations together and the same major, we didn't meet until a study abroad trip to London, England in the summer of 2016. After our study abroad trip, we fell out of touch but reconnected at a student government association Christmas party that same year. From there, everything just fell into place. Our relationship started in Troy, Alabama, went to long distance once I graduated college and moved to Virginia, came back together once Zack joined his family and I in Virginia after he graduated, then we both took a leap together and moved to Atlanta. Our journey has been so special because we have constantly been surrounded by our family and friends and it has been full of excitement, laughter, and top-tier memories. We are so excited to continue this journey together as husband and wife!

If you know Hannah and I, you know that two of the most important things to us are our family and friends. I knew the day I proposed would not be complete without our loved ones surrounding us. Starting the day off, I had told Hannah that my parents wanted my entire family to meet in downtown Opelika to take pictures with the fountain in front of the courthouse before all meeting for dinner. Hannah also asked if her family could meet us for dinner, not knowing that I had already spoken with her mom earlier in the week. Once taking a few photos, I started to explain how much Hannah meant to me and how I could not wait for us to spend the rest of our lives together. After many tears and a big smile on her face, I suggested it was time to meet the rest of the family for dinner at one of our favorite spots in town, Niffers. Hannah then opened the door to find all of our friends from the many years of memories we have made together. Somehow we were able to pull off the greatest day without Hannah suspecting anything!
