Chartered Bus from Dublin to Cavan!

July 8, 2026 2:00 pm - 2:15 pm

There will be two buses that will bring you to Cavan! The buses will be located at Trinity College, promptly leaving at 2:15 PM. The address to Trinity is College Green, Dublin 2, Ireland, and the Eircode is D02 VK74- if you type this code directly into your Map App, it will take you there. One bus will take you directly to Virginia Park Lodge (if you are staying there), and the other will take you to Crystal Cavan Hotel and Hotel Kilmore (if you are staying at either of those), so be sure to ask if you are on the right bus! To both hotels it will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Alternative Transportation Option: Bus & Taxi Services

If you don't want to take our charter bus, or if you will get to Ireland before or after it leaves (Wednesday, July 8th at 2:15 PM), there is a bus you can take to get into town. Directions to Bus at Airport: Head to the 'Bus and Coach Park' at the airport and proceed to Zone 12, where you can catch the Bus Éireann Expressway Route 30. This bus is approximately 15 Euro and usually has WiFi available. This bus operates hourly and provides direct service to Virginia, with a journey time of approximately 1 hour and 7 minutes. The bus will drop you off at Matthew's Pub on Main Street, which is a 13-minute walk (tested and timed by the bride and groom) to Virginia Park Lodge. County Cavan does have Uber available; however, you could be waiting up to 15 minutes for a car, so if you take the bus and do not want to walk, you will want to arrange a taxi to bring you to the hotel. Virginia Taxi Service: Owen Morgan 086-251-3531 You can also get an Uber or a Taxi to either hotel from the airport, which will cost about 150 Euros.

Welcome Party: Shuttle from Crystal Hotel to Virginia Park Lodge!

July 8, 2026 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

GETTING TO WELCOME PARTY: If you are staying at The Cavan Crystal Hotel or Hotel Kilmore, a shuttle will pick you up at 6:00 PM and bring you to Virginia Park Lodge. The shuttle ride will be about 20-30 minutes long. LEAVING WELCOME PARTY: If you are staying at The Cavan Crystal Hotel or Hotel Kilmore, a shuttle will pick you up from the Virginia Park Lodge at 10:00 PM and return you to your hotel. The shuttle ride will be about 20-30 minutes long.

Ceremony & Reception: Shuttle from Crystal Hotel to Virginia Park Lodge!

July 9, 2026 2:00 pm - 2:00 am

If you are staying at the Cavan Crystal Hotel or the Hotel Kilmore, a shuttle will leave from the Cavan Crystal Hotel and the Hotel Kilmore to Virginia Park Lodge at 2:00 PM for the ceremony. Shuttle will be leaving from Virginia Park lodge back to Cavan Crystal and Hotel Kilmore at midnight and again at 2:00 am. The shuttle ride will be about 20-30 minutes long. If you want to leave before either of these times, please see the front desk to call you a taxi.

Chartered Bus from Cavan back to Dublin!

July 10, 2026 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

There will be 2 buses that will bring you into Dublin and drop you off at The Dean Dublin. One bus will be leaving from Virginia Park Lodge, and the other will be leaving from Cavan Crystal Hotel & Hotel Kilmore, both departing at 11:00 am sharp. From here, you can either join the O'shea's at The Camden at 7:00 PM, or take a train or plane elsewhere. The trip from either hotel to Dublin will take roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour.
