The weather can be tricky in Ireland! Although warm (60-75 degrees), it is certainly colder than the United States in the summertime. It would be smart to bring a light jacket and some pants, along with your usual summer gear. Another thing to note is that rain is VERY common in Ireland, so if you want to bring an extra pair of sneakers and a waterproof windbreaker, that would be very smart!
Whatsapp! This is an easy application you can download on your phone- most people in Europe have this app, and you will be able to text/call cab drivers and others with Irish phone numbers with it.
The cities have Uber, however, it is linked to Taxi-cabs, so that's what you will be picked up in. They have Uber in the countryside, but you may be waiting quite a while- booking a taxi is recommended should you want to check anything out that is not on foot.

Please note that Ireland uses different outlets than America for chargers, hair tools, or anything you are plugging into a wall. You will need to buy a converter and/or an adapter. A converter is used for hair tools or anything that requires a higher voltage, and an adapter can be used for lower voltage items, like a phone charger. You can purchase these on Amazon!
