Where is the wedding?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Cupola Barn at N88W35490 Mapleton Rd., Oconomowoc, WI 53066.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Although we love your kiddos, we are keeping our event adults-only. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors with cocktail hour and reception indoors. The venue has beautiful outdoor spaces, including a patio, firepit, and outdoor bar that we encourage you to enjoy. Based on time of year we anticipate pleasant temperatures, but in case of unseasonably hot weather please plan accordingly as the venue will not be air conditioned.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie Optional, Cocktail, Semi-Formal, and Dressy Casual are all appreciated. Button-ups and sundresses are welcome! We ask guests to avoid wearing jeans, sweats, or other overly informal attire.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! Our venue has ample parking. Please be aware that cars cannot be left overnight.

What food will be served at the reception?

Answer

The reception will be catered by North and South Seafood & Smokehouse. Dinner will be buffet-style with a selection of meat and sides. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be available. We will ask for any additional allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP and we will do our very best to accommodate, but please feel free to let us know earlier if you would like. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns about dinner options.

What happens after the wedding?

Our reception at the Cupola Barn will end at 11pm. We have rented out The Crafty Cow in downtown Oconomowoc from 11pm-2am that will be open to all wedding guests who are interested in continuing the celebration into the night. See the "Schedule" tab for more details.

Will there be Ubers?

Answer

While there are some Ubers available in Oconomowoc on Saturday nights, our venue is about 8 miles out of the city's downtown. An Uber to the venue will likely be possible, but please do not count on Ubers being available on the way back. We will be providing a shuttle service to and from La Quinta Hotel. See the "Travel" tab for further details.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

You are more than welcome to bring a date if you have been given a plus one on your wedding invitation. We will include long-term significant others on your invitation. If you believe we intended to give you a plus one, but forgot it on the invitation, please reach out to us!

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss you dearly! If you are unable to attend the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
