FAQs

Question

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date, it will be marked as "No". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide a total guest count to the venue and vendors in the timely manner they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Question

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. Knowing PGH traffic, it is better to plan to be early than on time! Additionally, seating in the Grand Staircase is limited so it's first come first serve.

Question

What is seating like at the venue?

Answer

The Grand Staircase at the Allegheny Courthouse only provides 30 chairs for ceremonies. Due to the number of guests invited, chairs are first come first served with reserved seats for Mother of Bride, Father of the Bride, and Father of the Groom.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting your best summer cocktail attire for the evening. No jeans, t-shirts, or sneakers, please!

Question

Can I bring a Guest/Date?

Answer

Your invitation will be made out to "Your Name and Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. We, unfortunately, cannot accommodate additional guests.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment presently with us and leave all cell phones and cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We have hired an awesome team to capture every detail of the wedding and we will of course share those photos with you afterwards After the ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day and we encourage you to snap away!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors, but family portraits will more than likely be done in the courtyard. The reception space is outdoors under a tent.

Question

What is the parking situation for both venues?

Answer
