We met in December 2019, (via Tinder - it does work!) where our first date was a showing of Frozen 2. Throughout the next several months, we began to talk daily and started a situationship. We distanced ourselves from each other in May 2020. We lived our lives and experienced things that helped bring us back together. March 2022, we reconnected. Devon met Syd's family in April after her college graduation, and we became exclusive the following month. In June, Syd met most of Devon's family at a cousin's graduation party. The next day, Devon asked Syd to be his girlfriend. Fast forward to September 2025, we were vacationing in the Outer Banks with Syd's family. Devon asked Sydney to marry him after a walk on the last night of the stay. We can't wait for forever with each other. The past several years has been the best ones so far and more are on their way!
