Martin might take the cake for longest-standing friendship; from Sontown to YTH to college and ministry beyond, Martin has stood by us through every season of life. He is always down to pull out a board game or host a game of road trip Bible trivia. He has been there through it all and he will graduate with Valerie from Johnson in May.
Haleigh Clark

Thank goodness Haleigh forgave us for whispering during her first-ever sermon! Haleigh quickly became one of our best friends at Johnson and has changed our lives For Good. She is the High School Ministry Associate at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY and will get married this summer. It has been so fun and special to walk together in this season and in ministry.

Carter, the roommate, the best friend, the prayer warrior, the co-owner of the Sunday Ticket account. From Pursue in 2022 to pulling the wagon of flowers at our engagement, Carter has been a steadfast friend and support through our college years. He is a senior studying Preaching and Church Leadership at Johnson University and slowly working his way to his own personal library

Ava is one of our longtime best friends. Both Valerie and Noah grew up with Ava at Crossroads, and we have stayed besties through every season of life. Ava prides herself on her grandma-esque activities and loves a cozy night in. She is a senior at Murray State, finishing up nursing school this Fall.
Jefferson Brown

Jefferson is more than a friend, he is a brother. When people ask Noah who makes up his family, the list isn’t complete without the name, Jefferson Brown. Jefferson has always been there, from the middle school biking adventures to late night hangs around the fire pit, he loves hard and cares deeply for his people. He will be a senior at Middle Tennessee State University, where he is studying Music Business.

Norah radiates pure joy and is one of the best friends you could ever know. She came into our time at Johnson a little later, though you’d never know it based on our relationship. She is giggly, kind, and she definitely LOVES this song. Her heart for ministry is undeniable; she is a junior at Johnson, and we love doing life alongside her!
Spencer Thompson

Spencer is one of the four acceptable Packers fans in Noah's life (you can guess, but two of the others are found on this page). Spencer, from the very first meeting, has been a constant source of laughter, joy, and willingness to help even in the toughest situations (feel free to ask him about dumpster diving). He is studying both psychology and ministry at Johnson, and if you ever need hair tips, he’s your guy!

Cassie Jo is honestly sunshine in human form. Noah claims Cassie was his friend first (and fine, maybe she was), but she is equally loved by both of us. She is an avid concertgoer, a Disney fanatic and personal friend of the Mouse himself, and our most viral friend. She is currently attending esthetician school in Virginia and is also responsible for beautifying the bridal party on our special day.

Joseph is Valerie’s little brother and always has a smile on his face. He is one of the most generous people you’ll ever meet, as well as one of the hardest workers. He is studying business management at the University of the Cumberlands and could probably sell you a box of rocks if he wanted to!

He has prayed with us, over us, and for us, even from afar. It is such an honor to be married by someone who both loves us well and has played such a huge role in our lives and relationship.
