The welcome dinner will be hosted at Lido di Bellagio, a beach club walking distance from most hotels. If walking is too much, most hotels can coordinate a taxi for you.
You have to figure out a way to get to Villa Lario Resort Mandello on your own. It's roughly a ~50 minute drive. Ask your hotel or Lido di Bellagio to book you a taxi immediately. You can also try to take public transportation (ferry + bus) but this may be unreliable. Villa Lario Resort Mandello Via Statale, 125, 23826 Mandello del Lario LC, Italy
We highly suggest that everyone stay in Bellagio. The welcome dinner will take place in Bellagio and we will provide a private ferry for everyone from Bellagio to the villa on both the wedding day and the pool party.
Yes, but you will have to manage your own transportation. We suggest booking a taxi or car service in advance, your hotel should be able to help you with this. There are no Ubers on Lake Como.
Think elegant Italian summer. Don't wear heavy fabrics to keep you cool. For context, ceremony will take place on grass and the villa is mostly gravel. (Ladies, feel free to bring an extra pair of flats for after-party dancing.)
Warm and sunny, most likely. Wear sunscreen and bring your sunglasses!
- *CHECK YOUR PASSPORT* Italy doesn’t allow anyone to travel if their passport expires within 3 months of travel - July is high tourist season so book early (flights, hotels, restaurants) - Purchase Euros ahead of the trip - Bring European Travel Adapters - Uber is easily accessible at Milan Malpensa but not so much in Lake Como
We love your kids, but all events are adult only (18+). We hope you parents can enjoy a weekend off! For those traveling with kids, many hotels provide baby-sitting services and there are a number of Milan based nanny services.
