If you are a Swiss or European citizen, you do not need a visa to enter El Salvador. If you have USA citizenship, you can travel with your passport and pay $15 for a visa card upon entry at El Salvador's airport. Please remember to check that your passport is more than 6 month valid for your travels to El Salvador.

December is the best months to visit El Salvador. It's dry season - during the day it will be mostly sunny. Temperatures drop a bit during the night. However, I can get a bit windy sometimes. Make sure to pack a light jacket! Please note that the weather at the beach is much warmer than in the city, given that El Salvador has a lot of mountains. Therefore, we recommend light clothes for the pre-cocktail event at the beach. Average temperatures are 30*C/18*C (humid).
