How did you two meet?

Answer

We met the modern way… on Hinge. Yes, the app “designed to be deleted.” We took that very literally. One swipe, a few great conversations/dates, and suddenly we were acting like we hadn’t been swiping 3 seconds earlier.

What was your first impression of eachother?

Answer

Zee: “He was funny, charming, and way more adventurous than I expected. I wasn’t sure if I was signing up for a date or an episode of Man vs. Wild.” Doug: “She was beautiful, hilarious, classy, and she liked fishing… I knew I needed to lock this down.”

How did your families react?

Answer

They hit it off and immediately started planning holidays together like they’d known each other for decades. It’s unclear whether our families love us more… or each other more… but either way, everyone wins.

How would you describe your vibe as a couple?

Answer

“National Geographic meets Pinterest.” Doug is the adventure, the adrenaline, the “I have a headlamp in the truck just in case.” Zee is the design, art, music, the “let’s first get coffee and maybe a cute outfit.” Together, it somehow works beautifully.

Doug. But only because Zee was strategically waiting to avoid losing the emotional staring contest.

Answer

- Surprisingly, fishing (Doug pretends he taught her everything) - Exploring beautiful places, we can't wait to travel more! - Eating great food like it’s our full-time job and trying to learn how to cook it - Laughing until we can’t breathe - Hanging out with our families, who we genuinely love

Marriage! The biggest plot twist of them all. Followed by plenty of home remodeling, fishing trips, new places to explore, and whatever extreme hobby Doug discovers next on YouTube.
