While we will be staying at the Royal Myconian on Elia Beach, guests are welcome to choose from a variety of hotels across Mykonos. For convenience, we recommend staying near Elia Beach, as we will be providing transportation to and from the ceremony. Below are a few hotel recommendations, and there are also villas and Airbnbs nearby for those who prefer additional space or flexibility. Please note that if you choose to stay outside of Elia Beach, travel time to the ceremony is approximately 30 minutes. În timp ce noi vom fi cazați la Royal Myconian pe Plaja Elia, invitații sunt liberi să aleagă dintre diverse hoteluri din Mykonos. Pentru confort, recomandăm cazarea pe Plaja Elia, deoarece vom asigura transportul către și de la ceremonie. By Air: Mykonos International Airport (JMK) is the main airport. Direct flights are available from major European cities (including Bucharest) and from the U.S. (usually via Athens or other European hubs). From Athens: You can fly in about 40–50 minutes with several airlines including Aegean Airlines, Olympic Air, and Ryanair. By Sea: Ferries connect Mykonos with other Greek islands and the mainland (mainly Piraeus and Rafina ports in Athens). Ferry companies: Blue Star Ferries, SeaJets, Golden Star Ferries. Duration: ~2.5–5 hours depending on the ferry type (fast vs. conventional). Links below for ferry boats. From the Airport or Port to Elia Beach: Taxi/Uber: About 30–40 minutes from Mykonos Town or the airport to Elia Beach. Taxis are limited on the island and are costly (30-60 euro). Private transfer/shuttle: Recommended if traveling with luggage or in a group. Car rental: A convenient option to explore the island, though parking is limited.
