San Diego International Airport

San Diego International Airport is the closest airport to our wedding weekend activities. If flying from the East Coast, you could anticipate round trip flights to be around $300-$600, or if flying from Northern California about $80-$200. This airport is about a 30 minute drive from Encinitas where our wedding party will be staying.

Driving

Carlsbad/Encinitas is about an 8 hour drive from the Bay or 2 hour drive from LA. Wedding weekend activities will all be within a 30 minute drive from each other so having a car could be helpful. Otherwise there are plenty of Lyfts/Ubers around. Let us know if you are looking for carpool buddies!

There are many AirBnBs in the Encinitas area that are spacious and close to the beach! We have compiled a list of a range of homes that may fit what your group needs. We recommend finding groups to stay at larger Airbnbs together :)

Our weekend activities will mainly be located around the Encinitas area which is about a 30 minute drive north of downtown San Diego. For transportation between hotels/picnic/wedding/etc. we would recommend either driving or taking an Uber/Lyft. Rental cars are around $35-$60 per day and can be picked up near the San Diego Airport. There are also plenty of guests to carpool or share an Uber/Lyft with.
