Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Yes! Please see the "Schedule" page to learn more about our Friday and Saturday events before the wedding on Sunday.

How does the RSVP work?

Answer

We have a weekend full of activities planned for everyone! We would love to see you at as many of the weekend events as possible, but of course no pressure to attend them all. Please use this Zola website to RSVP for each event individually (including the wedding on Sunday!).

Please RSVP for all of the events you are attending by August 3rd, 2022.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to capacity limitations (Val and Rafi have big families!), we are unable to accommodate plus one requests.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Most of our weekend events will be a little north of San Diego so we recommend finding accommodations in the Encinitas area. Please see the "Travel" tab to see our recommendations on hotels and Airbnb's. We have a hotel block with Best Western Encinitas Inn & Suites At Moonlight Beach at a discounted rate.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding's dress code is semi-formal. Examples of semi-formal outfits include a dress shirt and slacks (with or without a tie), a below-the-knee dress, and a dressy skirt and top. Remember that this is an outdoor wedding (it might be hot!), with some cobblestone steps and dirt paths (floor-length gowns are not recommended).

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided for the wedding ceremony. We recommend sharing a taxi/Uber or driving to the ceremony venue in Carlsbad. After the wedding reception, transportation will be provided from the venue to the after party in downtown San Diego (Revel Revel). Transportation will also be provided from the after party back to Encinitas (Best Western Encinitas).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at Leo Carrillo Historic Ranch. You can also take a 20-minute taxi/Uber from Encinitas if you are staying in that area.

Answer
