When should I RSVP?
Answer
Kindly RSVP by June 6, 2026. However, we ask that you let us know as soon as you’re able, so we can plan accordingly for the many events and special treats we have in store for our guests.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

The wedding is formal/black-tie optional.

Will it be a cash bar?
Answer
In Ireland, open bars are not customary. However, we have arranged a bar tab for the reception so that guests may enjoy drinks with our compliments. Once the tab has been reached, beverages will be available for purchase directly at the bar. For the after-party at the Muckross Pub, drinks will be available to order on a cash/card basis.

Is the wedding indoors?

Yes — the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. However, there is also a beautiful outdoor garden space for guests to enjoy during the celebration.

What's the weather like?

While September in Ireland is beautiful the weather is famously unpredictable - sun, clouds, & a bit of rain of can all happen in the same day! September is usually mild, but evenings can be a bit chilly. The best tip? Pack layers!

Where should I stay?
Answer
Killarney has a ton of hotels, many just a short distance from the venue. We've listed some of our favorites on our Travel page, but really, any hotel in Killarney will be close enough. We also highly recommend staying in B&Bs - they're a great way to support local businesses and soak in the full Irish charm! Also please note, if you want to explore town on foot, staying a little further from the venue might be a better fit!

Is there a hotel room block?
Answer
As many of our guests will be traveling from different locations and making individual travel plans, and because our venue is a more intimate hotel, we will not be reserving a formal hotel room block. Additionally, many hotels are unable to accommodate room blocks when wedding events are not being hosted on their property. Fortunately, the road where Muckross Park Hotel & Spa is located is lined with several beautiful hotels and accommodations. The town center of Killarney also offers a wide variety of wonderful hotels for guests to choose from. Following the wedding, taxis and rideshare services will be readily available to bring guests back to their accommodations.

If I’m traveling via train, how can I book my ticket?

https://www.irishrail.ie/en-ie Enter your current location (e.g., your train station) and your destination, then book your ticket directly on the website. You can choose to reserve a seat or travel without one, and your ticket will be available as a QR code to add to your Apple Wallet. Tickets can also be purchased at the station, but booking in advance makes it easier to confirm you’re on the correct train and line.

Are children allowed on the Welcome Tour?
Answer
Children are welcome to join the tour. However, please note that the bus company does not provide car seats or booster seats, so guests traveling with children will need to supply their own.
