Dislikes: cleaning, crowded bars, and the schuylkill (expressway, the river's fine I guess). Here he is in his natural habitat (the couch) displaying incredible strength taming a wild Penelope with a single tug toy.

Brother and close confidant of the groom, Alan resides in Ardmore, PA where he spends time reading, gaming, Lego building, and planning his next vacation. Ask him to sing your favorite Broadway tune, he just might do it, depending on what number old fashioned he's working on.
Joseph Dolan

John met Joe at Penn State where they became fast friends over their shared love of football, games, and live music. They've followed concerts far and wide, from DMB at Madison Square Garden to DBT in Athens, GA. Joe can be found with his wife Virginia and their two rescue Greyhounds, Butterscotch and Krimpet, in Greenville, SC. He can also be found on Sirius XM Radio doling (Dol...aning?) out fantasy football advice but please lay off him this weekend.
James Murdoch

John and James go way back to their days at Haverford Middle School. Since then, they've been seen travelling from the shores of Thailand to the Kentucky bourbon trail, though most evidence of the latter has been thoroughly scrubbed from the internet. James currently resides in Seattle, WA exploring the pacific northwest with his fiancée, Emily and their dog Feta. He surely will be found testing the flexibility of his hamstrings and his pant seams doing splits in the middle of the dance floor.
Brian Bond

If you haven't met Brian yet, you most assuredly will. John and Brian met last millennium and despite or maybe due to their polar oppositeness have formed a long lasting, odd couple, hetero-lifemate-ship. Little known fact, they were once in a band together, an untitled Rock Band where John manned guitar and drums with Brian, the consummate frontman, on vocals. The band broke up as most do, due to a broken red guitar hero button. Brian can be found both nowhere and everywhere, often where you least expect while simultaneously muttering, 'oh yeah that checks out'.
Erin McCarty
Matron of Honor
Older and much wiser sister of the bride. Lauren's first best friend and life long advice giver. The sisters share a love of books, wine, costume dramas, and sly asides. Erin lives in York, PA with her chef husband, Oscar, their two adorable daughters Emmeline (also the flower girl), Imogen, and their dog Amelia.
Joanna Hecker

Cousin and best friend of the bride. Joanna is Lauren's marathon long brunch partner, forever Tria wine bar date, and ballet bestie. She is also one of Penny's very favorite humans. Jo and her husband Nate (the officiant) live nearby the bridal couple in the Italian market in Philadelphia with Penny's best dog frenemy Cal.
Brittany Parker

Lauren and Brit met in the sixth grade and have been inseparable ever since. Both will tell you they are each other's first true love. Despite Lauren's wishes Brit resides in Fort Worth-Dallas Texas where she runs her own tutoring company Good Human Dallas (she offers virtual sessions as well!). She lives there with her husband and high school bestie of the Bride, Ryan, and their chiweenie Brody.
Martae Giometti

Lauren and Martae met in their first year as members of the Junior League of Philadelphia. Their memberships didn't last past the year but a life long friendship was born. They bonded over a mutual love of fashion, wine, barre, and summer Friday afternoons spent wandering the city... and the city's many beer gardens. Martae now lives in Denver, CO with her boyfriend Matt.
Nathan Hecker
Officiant
As golf playing partner to John and on and off personal bodyguard/bouncer for Lauren, Nate was the natural choice for our wedding officiant. As bridesmaid Joanna's husband, Nate is already forced family for Lauren but we're happy to have his (soon to be legal and almost literal) stamp of approval welcoming John into the family.
