Jose Maria Cordova International Airport (MDE) is the only international airport serving the city of Medellin. It is located in the municipality of Rionegro which is about 30-45 minutes outside of the city, depending on traffic. Transportation options from the airport to Medellin (El Poblado) include Uber, Taxi, Bus, or Car Rental. Hashtag 98 also offers airport transportation for $165,000 COP one-way (about $37 USD, max 4 people, you will receive an e-mail with information after reserving a room). Taxi and Uber are both safe and affordable options as well. A regular taxi from the airport to the city is usually about $80.000-100.000 COP including tip (about $20-25 USD). El Aeropuerto Internacional José María Córdova (MDE) es el único aeropuerto internacional que sirve a la ciudad de Medellín. Se encuentra en el municipio de Rionegro, a unos 30-45 minutos de la ciudad, dependiendo del tráfico.
