We love this neighborhood BYOB ethiopian restaurant!
Originally this area was part of the America's cold war missile defense system, housing barracks and a Nike missile launcher site. Now it's a tranquil bird sanctuary. Come for birding, a nice walk along the lakefront, or the fantastic view from Montrose point.
Awesome museum off Michigan Ave, with a super cool gift shop
A great bouldering climbing gym, right in our neighborhood. They also have another location downtown in the Loop. For out-of-towners looking to get in a workout, this is a great place to do it.
Our favorite Chinese spot in the City. Come for the food, but stay to visit the shops of China town.
Annual celebration of Chicago architecture
Often overlooked compared to the more renowned museums in Chicago, the Chicago History museum is a gem. Learn about how Chicago was originally a fir trading outpost, the great fire and rebuilding, the world's fair and more.
If you've never had deep dish, go to Lou Malnoti's. If you've had that though, Chicago Oven Grinders has a unique take on pizza - the pizza pot pie. We regularly go here after Cubs games.
