What sort of food will there be?

Answer

Jarabe will be serving up Mexican tacos and street food out of their taco truck. It will be open for a couple of hours, so feel free to eat when you want. We will have a taco option for vegans and vegetarians.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want our wedding to be fun and relaxing and your attire can go right along with that. We're calling it cocktail or smart casual, but at the end of the day we want you to be yourself. If you want to rock a suit, go for it. If you're more comfortable in jeans and a sweet hoodie, great! And for those feeling festive, a costume or something out of the ordinary is welcome as well.

Should I stay downtown or in a neighborhood closer to the venue?

Answer

Up to you! The downtown area has the majority of museums, cool architecture, and beautiful parks. It's a great place to be if you want to experience it all. And it's only a 25 minute car ride to the venue. But if you're looking for a more relaxed pace and to experience what it's actually like to live in Chicago, you'll be at home in a neighborhood. Lincoln Square, Lakeview, Uptown, Ravenswood, North Center... we could go on. They are all great and have their own unique vibe.
