Lodging from Thursday (May 21) - Sunday (May 24) has been coordinated for all guests at Buccelletti Casali. The link to book your reservation will be sent via email by the venue upon your RSVP. Buccelletti Casali is an estate that's been in the Buccelletti family since the 1600s! Updated with all of the modern luxuries, we are inviting all of our guests to stay on the beautiful property with us.
Please review the "Travel" section for details on what airport to fly into and how to get to the venue. We recommend renting a car as driving rules are the same as the United States! If you're not comfortable with driving, the trains are easy to navigate and we will pick you up at the train station!
We fell in love with Italy on our first trip in Summer of 2023. There is no other place that brings us the peace and joy that Tuscany provides, with it's incredible food, wine, people and lifestyle. We have now travelled there five times and cannot resist bringing you all with us on our SIXTH visit.
Q: Do I need an International Drivers License to rent a car? A: No, but you'll likely need to provide your US driver's license. Q: Do I need to purchase the Car rental insurance that is offered? A: Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection is required, but most often your credit card will offer this automatically or at a much reduced rate. Q: What rental car companies to use? A: We mostly use Locauto (affiliated with National/Enterprise) with little complaint. We have also used Sicily by Car and Avis - both have been generally straightforward! Other Tips: - carry some coins and bills readily available for tolls - take a thorough video of the car when you pick it up and when you return it - the smaller the rental car, the easier time you will have parking - pay close attention to whether or not the rental car you select is a manual transmission or automatic - there are numerous automatic speeding cameras throughout Italy so keep to the speed limit - keep to the right unless you are passing
We love your kids, but our wedding will be an adult only celebration. We appreciate you making arrangements to enjoy a child-free weekend with us!
The ceremony and dinner will be outside in grass so take this into account when planning your shoes!
