Flight

United - Newark Airport

The easiest and most convenient way to travel to our wedding is to fly into Aguadilla Airport (BQN)—not San Juan. While San Juan might pop up first when you search flights to Puerto Rico, it’s important to note that San Juan is a 2.5 to 3-hour drive from Rincón. If you book that route, be prepared for a longer travel day. Instead, we highly recommend booking a flight into Aguadilla Airport (BQN)—it’s only a quick 20–25 minute drive from Rincón! Once you arrive, you can either rent a car or grab a cab if you're staying close to the venue. Many of the best beaches, restaurants, and coffee shops are walkable from the wedding area, so it’s totally doable to enjoy the weekend without a car if you prefer to keep things simple. If you're flying from the New Jersey/New York area, Newark (EWR) offers direct flights to Aguadilla. These flights are often late-night departures, so if you plan to be in Rincón by Friday, you'll want to book the Thursday night flight and reserve a hotel for Thursday night. That way, you can head straight to your accommodations after landing and wake up refreshed, relaxed, and ready to celebrate!

Rental Car

Avis Rent-A-Car

Hangar Road, Aguadilla, Aguadilla 00603, Puerto Rico

While it might be tempting to book a cheaper rental car through third-party sites, we highly recommend booking directly with Hertz, Avis, or Enterprise—all of which offer easy pickup and drop-off right at Aguadilla Airport and don’t require large deposits. It’s the most convenient and stress-free option, especially after a late-night arrival. A car is recommended if you’re planning to be adventurous during your stay—think surfing, snorkeling, waterfall exploring, horseback riding, or day trips to hidden beaches. That said, if you’re planning for a more relaxed and walkable weekend, you can absolutely go without a car. The wedding venue, Casa Islena, is just steps from a sandy beach and three great restaurants, and many nearby guesthouses and Airbnbs are within walking distance. In this case, you can take a cab from the airport and enjoy a car-free weekend by the sea.

Hotel

Tamboo

Carretera 413 Ramal, Rincón 00677, Puerto Rico

If you're looking to stay right near the action, Tamboo is the closest guesthouse/hotel to Casa Isleña—just a short 3-minute walk down the road. It's a beachfront property with its own restaurant and bar on-site, plus a beautiful sandy beach right out front, perfect for lounging, swimming, or grabbing a cocktail while watching the waves. It’s a great option if you want to be close, casual, and enjoy some of the best views in town without ever getting in a car.

Hotel

Casa Verde Hotel

Carretera 413 Ramal, Rincón, Rincón 00677, Puerto Rico

Just about a 5-minute walk from Casa Isleña, Casa Verde Hotel is another great option for accommodations. It’s located slightly uphill from the beach, so there’s a small incline to walk down and back up, but nothing too intense! One thing to note: Casa Verde is located right next to the only bar in the area that stays open late on Friday nights, so you can expect loud music until around midnight. It’s perfect for night owls or those who want to keep the party going—but if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to pack some earplugs or choose a quieter spot. Overall, it’s a fun, social place to stay close to everything you’ll want for the weekend!

Hotel

Serenity Rincon Guesthouse

677 Carretera Vista Linda, Rincón, Rincón 00677, Puerto Rico

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat tucked into the hillside, Serenity Guesthouse is my (Julie's) personal favorite spot to stay in Rincón. It truly feels like a tropical treehouse—surrounded by lush greenery with a small pool and hot tub to unwind in after a beach day. Important note: This property sits at the top of a very steep incline from the beach. It’s a quick walk down to the sand, but definitely a challenging walk back up, so I don’t recommend it for anyone with mobility concerns. For those up for the short uphill climb, it’s about a 10-minute serene walk to the wedding venue, offering a quiet, tucked-away vibe with just the right amount of adventure.

Hotel

Rincon Of The Seas Grand Caribbean Hotel

26 Sea Beach Drive, Rincón, Rincón 00677, Puerto Rico

While Rincón doesn’t have traditional all-inclusive resorts, if you're after that “resort-style” experience, Rincón of the Seas Grand Caribbean Hotel is your best bet. This hotel features a pool with a swim-up bar, an on-site restaurant, a beautiful sandy beach, and even snorkeling right nearby—giving you all the amenities of a tropical resort at a very affordable price. That said, Rincón of the Seas is not within walking distance to the wedding venue at Casa Isleña. If you choose to stay here, you’ll want to either rent a car (there’s plenty of safe parking) or plan to take cabs to and from any wedding events. It’s a great option for guests who want to relax in one spot and enjoy the classic beach vacation vibes with everything at their fingertips!

House Or Rental

Airbnb Option 1

If you’re planning to book an Airbnb and want to be within walking distance to the wedding venue, try searching: "Puntas, Rincón, Puerto Rico" This is the neighborhood where Casa Isleña is located, and it’s full of great options—from breezy studios to larger guesthouses. Just a heads-up: the further inland (and uphill) you go, the steeper the incline—but if you stay closer to the beach, the terrain is much flatter and easier to walk. This is one of a few examples we love. But there are tons of great options, so feel free to browse and text me with any questions or if you’re unsure about the location—I’m happy to help!
