We're going for a laid-back vibe, so casual dress is more than appropriate. Bonus points if you have western attire: cowboy boots and cowboy hats! Guys, put on some tan khakis or a fresh pair of blue jeans with a nice shirt. Formal ties might be too fancy, honestly; the wedding party is embracing their western style by wearing bolo ties. Ladies, wear that sundress! Cowgirl boots are encouraged, but not required.
Each cabin has a view of Lake Moraine. They all have both A/C and heating units for weather-dependent use. All cabins have their own private baths (toilet, sink, and shower). All have a mini fridge and a Keurig coffee maker. Most cabins have a full-sized bed and a set of bunk beds, however, we will let you know for sure your cabin set-up and who you'll be "rooming" with. **Bedding is included, but towels are not!** Bring your own towels & a camp chair for the fire pit! There is a dock for a small boat launch, so feel free to bring your kayak or paddle board to use on the lake! Also included is bus transportation to the wedding venue on Saturday afternoon and back to the campgrounds on Saturday night.
We have a couple great diners right in the town of Vernon-- 1. Apple Betty's 2. Nothin' Fancy Everyone's got Google Maps, right? Just type it into your phone for directions. P.S. They're pretty popular, so you might have a wait time, but it's worth it! There's also a Dunkin' at the Maple Leaf gas station right off the Verona Thruway exit.
The most straightforward answer is— no. We are trying to make this event/weekend as kid-free and stress-free as possible. (There are a few exceptions for family members.) We thank you in advance for your understanding.
