Question

Answer

The ceremony and reception will occur at the Sherman Library and Gardens in Corona Del Mar, CA. The address is 2647 East Coast Hwy, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625. The library and gardens are in compliance with ADA accessibility laws.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We look forward to hosting you in colorful formal attire at our wedding. Bonus points for bright colors and garden themed outfits! The brighter the better

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes! Our registry hub is available under the "Registry" Tab. It includes registries at Crate & Barrel, William Sonoma (and West Elm), Amazon, and Anthropologie as well as a cash fund option.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Once you have received your invitation, please respond at your earliest convenience. We will need to let our caterer know our final guest count by September 10th, 2024. We invite you to RSVP on our website or by mailing in the RSVP card sent with the invitation.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed directly on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot host any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Can I take pictures at the wedding?

Answer

We will start our ceremony with a "photo-op" because we understand that you want to capture our special moment! However, after this opportunity, we kindly ask that you store your phones in airplane mode or shut off until we have transitioned to the cocktail hour portion of our wedding. We have hired a fantastic photography team and would like everyone to be as present as possible during our ceremony without the distractions of phones and other electronic devices. Thank you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

608 Dahlia will accommodate food allergies for those who indicate on their RSVP. There will be gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options for both the cocktail hour and reception meal.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Sherman Library and Gardens has an exclusive 68 space parking lot including ADA accessibility parking spaces.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the operating hours of the Sherman Library and Gardens, we request that guests arrive starting at 4:30pm.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach. Please visit the "Travel" tab for more information and access to our discounted hotel rate.

Question

What will the weather be like in Corona Del Mar?

Answer

California tends to be hottest during September and October, however we will be very close to the coast, so the marine layer may bring down the temperature. While our venue boasts that they have yet to host a wedding that got rained out, you might want a light layer towards the end of the night. At this time last year, the weather was a high of 80 degrees with a low of 68 degrees and sunny.
