Gloribel and I met at Little Run elementary school. We were not always BFFs, but once we got to know each other we were inseparable. She was always the responsible model student, me on the other hand, well I was the trouble maker. I think its safe to say not much has changed since then. She is now a model citizen and I continue to be the wild child.

I met Gloribel spring 2015 when we took an English Composition class at George Mason University. We sat together for most of the semester. We only had that class together, but we would often see each other on campus. Ever since, we stayed in touch, and I've had the opportunity to know the extent of Gloribel's cooking talent and incredible kindness.

I met Ana during my first semester of college at GMU. I remember walking into our criminology class, and being lost because I had enrolled late to the class. I saw Ana there and immediately talked to her in an attempt for guidance but she had also enrolled late to class. We sat near each other and after exchanging only a few words, I could tell that Ana was a very outgoing, intelligent and sweet girl. She was also professor Murphy’s favorite student because she was always asking questions :) We kept in touch since and became good friends because we shared many things in common; especially our passion for the criminal justice system, and a good time with her delicious homemade margaritas🍹

At GMU I sat all the way in the back of my Criminology class. At the front of the class was a very lively, friendly, smart girl. I just knew I had to sit next to her as soon as I had the chance. The next time I had that class, I purposely got there early so I could seat up front. I wasted no time and started making conversation with Gloribel. A few days later she brought me a box of homemade food. Made with pure love, Gloribel gave me platanos, frijoles, queso and huevos. At that precise moment, I knew our friendship was going places. Gloribel has a heart of gold and I am proud to call her mi amiga.

Ana and I met in college, we were taking a class named Spanish in the U.S. with Professor Jennifer Leeman. To see how passionate and knowledgeable she was about some of the topics we spoke about in class was inspirational. How crazy is it that we found out we were in another class together where immigration was the topic. Whew! I thought she was passionate in the other class! I thought, “What an amazing person!” I can definitely say with confidence that my first thoughts of Ana were all true, that she is an incredible human being. I think someone else, Ulice, realized how incredible. I’m so happy to be a witness of her getting married to the love of her life.

I first met Gloribel while working at El Tio Restaurant in Falls Church. Little by little we bonded and became friends at work and more importantly on a personal level. I’ve known her before she was together with Ulice and I am very happy she is getting married to a great man who always shows how much he loves her. I wish the best to my dear friend and hope happiness is ever present in her life

I met Gloribel at El Tio Tex-Mex Grill in Falls Church -- we were both hostesses. I thought she was very nice and confident, and we got along well from the get-go. I remember, one time, Ulice and Gloribel were acting weird so my mother asked them point-blank if they were dating, and they looked at each other and started laughing hysterically, with Gloribel responding with a resounding, "No!" Ever since then, she's been dating my brother. She is also now the godmother to my son, Cole!
